FAQs

REGISTRATION 

There is no cost to participate in either the Live Auction or the Silent Auction; however, you must register your name, contact information and credit card in order to participate as a bidder or make a donation.

  • If you have already registered and have a credit card on file, you will be sent a personal biding page when the silent auction opens.
  • If you registered and did not keep your credit card on file, you will be sent an email to register your credit card information when the silent auction opens.
  • If you have not registered at all, please register here before the event and then you will be sent an email when the silent auction opens Go to https://sparc2021.ggo.bid to register for bidding anytime.

Because this is a virtual event, without a traditional check-in/check-out process, we encourage you to keep a credit card on file when you register for the event and make everything as seamless and easy as possible.

 

AUCTION RULES

  • The highest bids submitted into the online auction are legal contracts to purchase the item.
  • All purchases made are FINAL and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted.
  • All credit cards on file will be charged within 72 hours of the live event.
  • You will receive a transaction-based receipt once your card is successfully charged. Tax receipts will be emailed following the event.
  • If payment is unsuccessful within 72 hours of the close of the auction, any items won may go to the next highest bidder at the discretion of the organization.
  • The organization reserves the right to add or withdraw items from the auction without notice before final bids are made.
  • The organization neither warrants nor represents, and in no way shall be responsible for, the correctness of descriptions or conditions of items or arrangements.

 

PURCHASE OF RAFFLE TICKETS

  • To purchase raffle tickets for our raffle please go to https://sparc.ejoinme.org/registernow
  • Limited tickets available!
  • Raffle sales will continue until called by the emcee at approximately 5:15pm
  • Raffle will be drawn at the end of the live virtual auction, you do not need to be present to win.

 

MAKE A CONTRIBUTION/CONTRIBUTE TO FUND-A-NEED

  • Go to the FUND A NEED DONATION tab.
  • Select your donation amount or enter custom amount.
  • Choose whether you would like to contribute as yourself, anonymously, or on behalf of someone else.
  • Click SUBMIT. Your donation will be automatically added to your statement for the event. All credit cards on file will be charge within 72 hours of the live event.
  • DONATIONS MAY BE MADE ANY TIME PRIOR TO THE EVENT, DURING THE EVENT AND UP UNTIL ONE WEEK AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE LIVE EVENT.

 

ONLINE BIDDING

  • Once you have registered online (see above) you will receive a text message when bidding opens for each auction (silent/live).
  • Click on the hyperlink in the message to go to your personalized bidding page.
  • Start bidding!!

We recommend that you have two devices open during the live program - a laptop or tablet to watch the live program, and a smart phone or tablet to bid/donate.

 

LIVE AUCTION

Live Auction bidding will open on Friday, March 12th; it will remain open until the auctioneer closes each item during the Live Auction. The winner of a Live Auction item will be the person who bids the highest amount. You may set a guaranteed maximum in advance, to automatically advance your bid in designated increments as others bid against you. If you are outbid, you will receive a notice by text.

 

SILENT AUCTION

The Silent Auction will open on March 11th at 12:00 PM. You will receive a text message reminder letting you know the silent auction is now open for bidding. It will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 16th. You may set a guaranteed maximum in advance, to automatically advance your bid in designated increments as others bid against you. If you are outbid, you will receive a notice by text.

 

AUCTION ITEM PICKUP

Auction item purchases will be available for pickup on Thursday, March 18th, 12:00-6:00 p.m., at the Administrative offices of SPARC Preschool on 2226 Market Street, Suite D (upstairs) St. in Mount Vernon, please call 360-416-7570 when you arrive. If you have purchased gift certificates, but no tangible items, you have the option of having the certificates mailed to you. If your certificates also come with tangible items like gift baskets, you must pick them up in person; only certificates can be mailed.

 

TAX RECEIPTS
